Under the patronage of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center (ROLACC) in cooperation with the University of Sussex, we announce the establishment of the inaugural session of the International Anti-Corruption Masterclass Series (IACMA).
The main lecture entitled “The United Nations Convention Aginst Corruption Implementation Review Mechanism “which will be given by Mr. Dimitri Vlassis, Chief, Corruption and Economic Crime Branch, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC, Vienna), Secretary of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).
The introduction will be given by Dr. Dimitris Ziouvas, Convenor IACMA, Reader in Criminal Law and Compliance, University of Sussex. Moreover, Dr. Ziouvas will discuss the mission of IACMA in empowering responsible leaders, education for justice and ethics and rethinking public policy.
The lecture will give participants an opportunity to meet international law experts and to find out more about the LLM program in Corruption, Law and Governance. The LLM’s professors and current students will be available for inquiries questions in regard to modules, scholarships, entry requirements and career prospects.
The session will be held on the 24th of October 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel Doha, in Al Rayyan Hall, from 17:30 to 19:30
