The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center hosted on 27-28 February 2017, the meeting of the executive committee of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, which was presided by HE. Dr. Ali Al Marri-Attorney General of the State of Qatar.
The meeting reviewed the recommendations of the Constitution Reform Working Group, which convened on 26th February at ROLACC.
The IAACA Work Plan, time and location of the next executive committee and general meeting, were among the many agenda items discussed during the two-days-meeting.
Dr. Ali Al Marri- President of IAACA and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ROLAAC welcomed the participants and expressed in his remarks in the opening session, the hope that the association could become a universal gathering for fighting corruption, connecting anti-corruption authorities and promoting cooperation among them.
The State of Qatar was elected as President of IAACA in the General Meeting of the association in St. Petersburg 2015 which held back to back with the 6th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UNCAC.
