His Excellency Dr. Ali Bin Fetais Al Marri, the Attorney General, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre, and His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, and His Excellency Mr. Foday Malang, the Ambassador of the Republic of DGambia in Qatar, concluded the training course about Cybercrime.
The event was held at ROLACC offices in Doha, Qatar.
The workshop lasted for three days, from the 18th- 20th March 2019.
As part of the ongoing training plan for African States, implemented by the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center, the Center hosted a Government delegation from the Republic of Gambia, which included a number of prosecutors, judges and police officers.
The course dealt with the legal aspects of cybercrime, both objectively and procedurally. It also dealt with the training of university professors specialized in information technology, along with lawyers and judges. The workshop the latest forms of electronic crimes and how to control them, along with methods of prevention and the procedures in place to defend the state.

It also aims to achieve tangible results regarding the awareness and protection of Qatar’s residents and visitors Aligned with leader ship Vision 2030”.
The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center provides local, regional and international training courses throughout the year for various institutions and bodies in the field of the Rule of Law, as well as those combating corruption and governance.
