The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center Organizes a Visit for Sorbonne Qatar Law Students to the UNODC Regional Center for Combating Cybercrime

Doha, Qatar: On April 30, the UNODC Regional Center for Combating Cybercrime in Doha hosted Sorbonne Qatar law students, in cooperation with the Rule of Law & Anti-Corruption Center. During the visit, the Center’s training experts engaged in-depth with the students on the global dimensions of cybercrime, offering an international perspective on how these issues are addressed. The Center also shared insights into the work of the United Nations beyond academia, highlighting its direct, practical role on the ground through capacity-building, cooperation and implementation with Member States. The discussion also highlighted the important role young people play in promoting cyber safety and building more secure digital communities. Creating spaces for dialogue and awareness helps students better understand today’s digital challenges and encourages them to become agents of change for tomorrow, both at the local and international levels.
